Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/30/25

The form of the Boston Celtics has been up and down lately, not really surprising given what they’ve gone through so far this season. Even on nights where they have a player scoring 41 points like last night in Minnesota, they still aren’t able to beat the good teams. It gets even tricker on Sunday as they head to Cleveland to face a Cavs team desperate for a result. This will be the 4th time this year that the Cs are playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, so far they are 2-1 with wins over New Orleans and Memphis, plus a blowout loss against Houston. Against the Cavaliers they do have a solid head-to-head record having won 6 of 8 games, however most of those came in years prior when they had Tatum.

Following back-to-back losses to Atlanta and Toronto, the Cavaliers are looking for a bounce back performance to bring back some of the optimism lost along the way. It hasn’t been the same first month of the season like last year, but at 12-8 SU all is not lost. Far from that actually, there’s plenty of time for Cleveland to turn it up and become the team they were last year. They’ll have to do it without Jarrett Allen on Sunday as he sits this one out with a finger injury. The good news is Darius Garland is back, working his way into the flow of things. As time goes on he and Mitchell will regain the chemistry they had in the backcourt which led the Cavs to the best record in the East last season.

On paper 7.5 points does sound like a lot, but given the Celtics are playing their 2nd game in two nights and they had to fly in from Minnesota, I feel like this is a good spot for a good Cavaliers performance. They’re 8-3 SU in home games this season, as favorites they’ve won 11 of 17 games as well. Go with Mitchell and co. in this one.
