Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/11/25

After 11 games played the Celtics are right where most people saw them before this season started – occupying a play-in tournament spot. Now we can all truly appreciate the importance of Jayson Tatum to this team, both offensively and defensively. Stylistically not much has changed – Boston still puts up the 2nd most threes at 44.8 per game, however the efficiency numbers have dipped quite a bit and they find themselves only 16th in offensive rating. The difference maker last time these two met was in the rebounding department and also turnovers. The Cs grabbed 16 offensive boards and had only 10 turnovers compared to 18 by Philly. This allowed Boston to take 23 more shots from the field and ultimately they squeezed out the win.

Philadelphia had Embiid in that loss a little over a week ago, the big fella is expected back in the line-up after missing the game against Detroit. It’s been a up and down year for Embiid who is struggling to even stay on the court due to his knee issues. Having a player of his stature going in and out of the line-up has caused a few issues, it’s hard to compete with the big guns when your starting line-up isn’t consistent. I expect Philly to be smarter this time around and play Andre Drummond way more than the 12 mins he played last time vs Boston. This would ensure the Sixers to be competitive on the board and if they can fix their turnover issues I like their chances in this one.

Both games this season went down the wire between these two teams, so we could be in for another nailbiter in this one. The experience is on Boston’s side here, however if the three-ball isn’t falling to start the game they could be in trouble. Philadelphia has been consistent in covering the spread, doing so 7 times in 8 outings overall and in 4 of 5 vs East teams. I’ll give a slight edge to the home team here.
