Brooklyn Nets vs Washington Wizards Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/16/25

Two teams that have combined to lose 22 games through their first 24 outings meet up in Washington on Sunday as the Nets and Wizards lock horns. There’s not much positive to say about either team here, after losing Cam Thomas to an injury the Nets have struggled to put the ball in the basket failing to cross the 100 point mark twice in 3 outings. For a team that’s already limited on that end losing a 20+ point per game scorer is devastating, Brooklyn just doesn’t have the personnel to compensate for his absence.

Washington is yet to win at home in 5 attempts, this is an opportunity to change that and I think they’ll take this match-up seriously. Unlike the Nets who are a very young and inexperienced team, the Wizards actually have recognizable names on their roster in Khris Middleton and CJ McCollum. Defense is what is causing all the issues for this team, Washington is allowing 122.9 points per 100 possessions this season which is the 2nd worst mark in the league. Over their last 5 games they’ve allowed 135 or more points 4 times, the closest they were to a win was at Detroit where they lost in OT by just two points.

Unless you have family members involved, I seriously doubt there’s an incentive for anyone to watch this game. Both the Nets and Wizards have been a disaster, but if I had to pick a team to win I’d still side with the more experienced Wizards.
