Game Totals Pick
Under 226.5(-110)

Fresh off of an impressive win at Ball Arena, the Houston Rockets now head to Sacramento for a date with the Kings on a 2nd night of a back-to-back. Kevin Durant shined with 31 points last night as the Rockets won for the 17th time in 25 games, they are in firm control of the 5th spot in the West at the moment. On paper this game against the Kings may look like an easy one, however we have been burned on a couple of Rockets games earlier this season. These two teams met in early December and the Rockets came out on top 121-95, with the trio of KD, Sengun and Thompson all scoring 20+ points.

For the Kings there just haven’t been too many reasons to be happy this season. The team is only 6-22 SU and currently on a 5-game losing streak. They too are playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back here after another loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Just 93 points scored in that game wasn’t a good look for the Kings who are among the fastest paced teams in the NBA, in only 1 of their last 5 games they were able to put up more than 105 points. With trade season now officially open I would not be shocked if the Kings decided to blow it all up and go into a rebuild, the way they are currently constructed just isn’t working.

With no Zach LaVine I’m afraid the Kings won’t be able to put enough points on the board here. They’re the lowest scoring team in the league over the past 10 games, averaging just 105.3 points per game. Houston has the 8th best defensive efficiency, the first meeting saw just 216 points in early December. Unless Russell Westbrook goes nuclear here, this one is finishing under the total.

Houston Rockets vs Sacramento Kings Predictions: Under 226.5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
