Grizzlies vs Warriors Pickswise Expert Predictions

Memphis Grizzlies
Game Totals Pick
Over 237.5(-110)

Three games is a small sample size, but if we can already judge the Memphis Grizzlies I’d say not much has changed compared to last season. When their offense is clicking they look like the best team in the league, when it’s not they look like a lottery team. Brandon Clarke and Zach Edey remain out, which means Jaren Jackson Jr. is their only threat as a big man. In order to stay competitive with the Warriors you have to have the ability to punish them down low as that’s their only weakness defensively.

Golden State’s last game was a good indicator just how old this team is. Following two intense games to start the season and a OT win over Denver they went to Portland with an empty gas tank. The defense was nowhere to be seen as they allowed 139 points in a 20-point defeat, losing on their first back-to-back scenario. Monday is a new opportunity to get back on track, against a team they’ve enjoyed a lot of success against, both in the regular season and postseason. Golden State is 6-1 SU in 7 meetings, they’ve also won 10 straight at home against the Grizz.

Traditionally, the over has been the bet to place when these two teams play. It has cashed in 5 of the last 6 meetings, while the last 10 have seen an average of 239.9 points per game and a 7-3 record on the O/U. Memphis will look to run, we’ve seen the Warriors vulnerabilities on defense against Portland. Let’s back the points in this one.

Over 237.5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
