Memphis has seemingly turned the corner in their last 5 games, winning 4 times with one of the games being against the Kings. Ja Morant is still out, he has been nothing but a distraction to this team and it’s no wonder they are flourishing without him. Sunday sees the Grizz take on the Kings once again, as they look to go up 2-0 in the regular season series. Jaren Jackson Jr. will look to feast on the Kings interior here as they are still without Domantas Sabonis. Santi Aldama stood out in that first meeting with 29 points and 5 threes made.

At 5-15 SU after the first month of the season the alarms are going off in Kings land as the team looks for answers trying to turn things around. They did show some signs of life earlier in the week with wins over Denver and Minnesota, but then they followed it up with losses vs Phoenix and Utah. You just never know what you’re getting from this team, on certain nights one of the highly skilled veterans might have it going and the Kings upset the odds. The oddsmakers seem to think they have a chance in Sunday’s game, despite them covering the spread just once in 6 home games and losing 9 of their last 11 vs West opponents.

Memphis is the more consistent team right now, but both sides are very unpredictable. Neither of them excels at scoring the ball, they rank 24th and 27th in offensive efficiency. The under has cashed in 8 of 11 meetings, the two teams are also a combined 6-18 on the O/U in their last 24 games. I’ll back the under here.
