Heat vs 76ers Pickswise Expert Predictions

Point Spread Pick
MIA Heat Win +1.5(-115)

With 3 wins on the bounce the Miami Heat are once again feeling themselves. They just put 143 points on the Chicago Bulls, with 8 players scoring in double-figures and their leader in points Kel’el Ware scoring 20. That’s been the story of the season for Miami so far. They spread the wealth with nobody jumping out as the clear cut best player on the team. Speeding up the pace has done wonders for the confidence of this team, even though they’re only 12th in efficiency the Heat average the most points at 124.8 per game. They’ll need to score a bunch of points against Philly, especially if Tyrese Maxey has it going again.

Maxey put up 54-points in a OT win at Milwaukee a couple of days ago, an important one for the Sixers who were playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back. Paul George is slowly regaining form after returning from injury, things are looking bright for the 76ers right now, something that hasn’t been the case over the past couple of years. Statistically, this team does not excel in any category except for blocks where they lead the league. A lot will depend on Maxey and Edgecombe in this game, so far this season they are one of the most lethal backcourt duos in the league.

Whenever the Heat and Sixers play it’s always a fascinating match-up. Last season it was all Miami as they swept the season series 4-0 winning by an average of 14.7 points. Over the last 8 meetings Miami has covered the spread 7 times, while in their last 8 games overall they are a reliable 6-2 SU/ATS. Plenty of reasons to stick with the Heat in this one.

Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers Predictions: Heat +1.5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
