Point Spread Pick
OKC Thunder -10.5(-110)

Sunday sees the defending champs wrap up their 4-game West coast road trip with a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies. After suffering their first loss of the season in Portland, OKC bounced back in a big way demolishing the Sacramento Kings 132-101 on Friday. Isaiah Hartenstein had the game of his career with 33 points and 19 rebounds, punishing the Kings down low. Jack Landale will have a hard time containing him here, if he can string together a similar performance. The Thunder have won 9 straight regular season games vs Memphis, plus in the last 13 meetings they’ve covered 10 times.

The dysfunctional Grizzlies got a much-needed win over Dallas the other day, ending a 4-game losing streak. By now we’ve all heard about the head coach Tuomas Iisalo and star player Ja Morant budding heads, not much has changed on that front, at least not that we know of. Morant is continuing to struggle with efficiency, shooting career lows across the board and hurting his team in more ways than not. Injuries have also been a problem for the Grizz with Santi Aldama, Zach Edey, Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Brandon Clarke all potentially missing this game. With all those issues in mind, the question is can the Grizz stay competitive here?

I don’t think they can. Apart from the loss to Portland where they let a 20-point lead slip away, the Thunder have played a flawless season so far. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t get the job done here, so let’s back the champs to cover.

Thunder vs Grizzlies Predictions: Thunder -10.5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
