Orlando Magic vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 10/27/25

Not everything has gone according to plan so far for the Orlando Magic who find themselves with just 1 win to their name after 3 games played. After an impressive win over Miami on opening night, the offense just hasn’t lived up to the expectations against the Hawks and Bulls. Monday’s game in Philly will be their first road game of the season, it could be a problematic one. Rebounding has plagued the Magic so far, they find themselves 29th in opponent rebounds per game so far, going up against Joel Embiid is troublesome even if he’s far from 100%. Orlando has just 4 wins in 19 meetings, plus they are 2-6 ATS in 8 games vs Philadelphia.

VJ Edgecombe is proving to be a real revelation by the 76ers, as they find themselves 2-0 on this young season. Monday could also see Paul George return to the line-up, as good as Philly has looked in these two opening games, they could definitely use some additional firepower on offense. Joel Embiid had a solid game vs Charlotte dropping 20 points in 20 minutes, very encouraging after that miserable showing in the season opener. What has impressed me the most about Philly is their ability to shut down opponents’ shooting from deep. They’re allowing just 31.8% of threes to go in, over the long run that number probably isn’t sustainable, for comparison last year they were at 37.8% which was the 2nd highest mark in the league.

Orlando is still building chemistry with a few big pieces that have arrived this summer. Their three-point shooting has been a disaster through 3 games at just 27.6% success rate. Philly leads this category with 43% of their threes going in. I’ll take my chances with the home team here. Back Philadelphia.
