This begs the question: are they able to pull off a surprise in L.A. tonight? Judging by their performances in recent meetings, they might very well do so. It’s all well and good when you are able to counter those types of numbers with better ones offensively, but there will come a game in which the Lakers simply don’t have it going offensively. Monday could also see LeBron James and Marcus Smart return to the lineup after they both missed the Pelicans outing.

I have a sneaky feeling the Suns might get a result. One of the weaknesses of the Lakers is their lack of perimeter defense. Phoenix makes the sixth-most 3s while shooting the fifth-highest percentage from downtown. The Suns consistently make 14 or 15 triples on a nightly basis, so I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and back an outright Suns victory.
