Kings vs Nuggets Pickswise Expert Predictions

Game Totals Pick
Over 236.5(-110)

Losing Domantas Sabonis to a partially torn meniscus is the last thing the Sacramento Kings needed. It’ll be at least 4 weeks before he is re-evaluated, by then the Kings might find themselves bottom of the Western Conference if things don’t improve. With a 3-13 SU record there are already rumbling around the league that the Kings are planning to re-build. Head coach Doug Christie just hasn’t been able to build chemistry this season, this team just isn’t a good fit overall.

This will be the 3rd and final time the Nuggets and Kings will meet this season. Denver won both meetings fairly convincingly, a little over a week ago they won at the Golden 1 Center 122-108 behind a monster performance from Jokic who had 35 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists in 33 minutes played. He did that going up against Sabonis down low, can you imagine his stat line in Saturday’s game without having to deal with him? Following Friday’s win in Houston, the Nuggets are flying high, my only concern here is the fact that they are playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back.

At 12.5 points the spread looks big here. After failing to cover against the Pelicans the other day and having just played the Rockets last night I am not sure I trust the Nuggets in this spot. Sacramento isn’t the most efficient of teams, but they’ll look to run here. The first meeting at Ball Arena saw 254 points, I’ll back the points in this one.

Kings vs Nuggets Predictions: Over 236.5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
