Sacramento Kings vs San Antonio Spurs Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/16/25

Things are getting rowdy in Sacramento where the Kings are desperate for a result following yet another disappointing loss at Minnesota on Friday. Losing 5 games in a row is one thing, but doing it in the manner that the Kings have done takes things to a whole new level. During this streak only the Washington Wizards have a worse defensive rating, teams are scoring 125.7 points per 100 possessions on the Kings in their last 5 games. It’s a similar story on the other end with only Indiana posting worse offensive efficiency numbers than the Kings’ 103.3 points scored per 100 possessions. Something needs to change in Sacramento before it’s too late.

Most Spurs fans would sign off on an 8-4 SU start through the first 12 games if that was on the table at the start of the season. Losing back-to-back games to the Warriors shouldn’t derail all the good things San Antonio has done so far this season. This game is the perfect opportunity for a bounce back performance, against an opponent that has had the Spurs’ number over the years. Of the last 13 meetings 10 went the Kings way. However, with Victor Wembanyama being unstoppable on the inside and De’Aaron Fox being extra motivated to do well against his former team, you have to really like the Spurs’ chances in this game.

The chemistry just isn’t there for the Kings. They tried to mix things up replacing Dennis Schroder with Russell Westbrook in the starting unit, but even that didn’t yield much of a result in the loss to Minnesota. San Antonio is just a way better coached team and they have Wemby, someone the Kings won’t be able to slow down. Give me San Antonio.
