Raptors vs 76ers Pickswise Expert Predictions

Point Spread Pick
TOR Raptors +5.0(-115)

Things could not be going any better if you’re a Toronto Raptors fan right now. The team is clicking on both ends, they just won their 4th game in a row and most importantly they have a clean slate when it comes to injuries. Despite the win streak, Toronto enters Saturday’s clash with Philadelphia as a 5 point underdog which has me intrigued. From a bettors’ perspective this match-up has been favorable for those backing Canada’s only team, the Raptors are 4-1 ATS/SU in 5 meetings.

The unpredictable 76ers have lately been just that – very unpredictable. Following a 4-0 SU start they’ve now cooled off a bit losing 3 of 4, with their only win during that stretch being against the struggling Nets. Paul George is yet to make his season debut, while with Joel Embiid you never know if he will play or not. The issue for Philly in the early going is on the defensive end, as good as they have been at putting up points, teams are averaging the 4th highest amount of field goals made against them. Only the Kings, Nets and Wizards are worse in this category, not the company you want to be surrounded if you’re a Sixers fan.

I have to give a slight edge to the Raptors here. They’ve played well enough lately to convince me they’re not without a chance. They took down Cleveland, Memphis, Milwaukee and Atlanta all by double-digits. Who is to say they cannot cover against a not-so-good Sixers team here?

Raptors vs 76ers Predictions: Raptors +5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
