Wizards vs Hornets Pickswise Expert Predictions

Point Spread PickBest Bet
CHA Hornets -10.5(-110)

Getting blown out on a regular basis is nothing new for the Washington Wizards who are in full on tank mode at the moment. They’ve won just 10 of 43 games and are just 4-18 on the road, ahead of Saturday’s early tip in Charlotte vs the Hornets. In the 2 meetings so far this season they’ve allowed 139 and 126 points in blowout losses. Trae Young is yet to make his Wizards debut, and it’s looking increasingly likely that he won’t be doing so any time soon. Washington has dropped 5 in a row on the road and 8 straight overall.

Consistency has eluded the Hornets a bit over the past week or so, but they are coming off an impressive showing at Orlando where they beat the Magic fairly convincingly 124-97. Brandon Miller led all Hornets scorers with 20, but he could miss Saturday’s clash after tweaking his ankle which has him on the injury report as day-to-day. Other than him we have to point out the rookie sensation Kon Knuepple who is a nightly 20 point threat, but also LaMelo Ball who is averaging 30.5 points in 2 meetings with the Wizards.

In 17 games the Hornets have covered 12 times, which makes them one of the more reliable teams to bet on. A total of 7 Wizards players are on the injury report here, this team isn’t exactly showing a desire to win games on a nightly basis. I’ll go with the Hornets who are still trying to get into the play-in tournament.
