When we have a London game, the 4:00 pm slate always gets slighted it feels like. The game of the week is San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams (+1) and the rest of the lineup is slim pickin’s. We may see Malik Willis get his first start; at the time of writing this, he’s getting 1st-team reps in practice for the Tennessee Titans. And finally, the New York Giants (+3) travel West to Seattle as another underdog. I intentionally didn’t mention the Colts (-2.5) vs Commanders because it doesn’t deserve recognition. Damn it! I’m ad I did it in jest just now!

Here are my favorite late-afternoon props, and also check out our full Sunday NFL analysis.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, IND Over 73.5 rushing yards (-115)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Sam Ehlinger is getting the starting nod this week and Jonathan Taylor is one week removed from his return. Against Tennessee in Week 7 Taylor did not put up his normal gaudy numbers but did manage 5.8 YPC on 10 carries. That should change this week as I’m expecting an increased workload for JT. The Commanders are allowing 4.32 YPC this season and have had lapses this season against the run. We have seen Derrick Henry go for 102 yards, Khalil Herbert 74 and David Montgomery 67 in the same game. LB Cole Holcomb will be out on Sunday and adds a little more value to this play, as he is the QB of their defense and the leading tackler on the team. Taylor is a candidate for the. 100+ alt line, but at 73.5 I’m on this for 2U.

Noah Fant, TE, SEA Over 27.5 receiving yards (-114)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Fant has 40 yards in each of his last 2 games and lead the team in targets Week 6 vs Arizona. There is a possibility that Geno Smith could be without both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on Sunday against the Giants, which would mean another big workload for Fant. The Giants have been pedestrian against TEs this season, allowing nearly 6 receptions and 66 yards per game to the position. After watching Evan Engram and Mark Andrews hit this number with ease, I can see Fant getting closer to the 50-yard number. Put me down for 1U.

Matthew Stafford, QB, LAR Over 248.5 passing yards (-114)

Line available at Fanduel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

The Rams are getting back starting center Brian Allen and WR Van Jefferson this Sunday. Both additions will be huge for the success of the Rams’ offense. To add more spice to this matchup, Arik Armstead is expected to be out for the San Francisco defensive line. Stafford had 254 yards in the Week 4 spanking the 49ers put on the Rams, but that game was very ugly on the offensive side of the ball as Stafford was constantly under duress. Cam Akers will not suit up this week, as he is awaiting his trade destination — leaving Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown as the team’s only real RB options. This game appears to be on the shoulders of Stafford and Kupp, but don’t be surprised if Van Jefferson makes a big splash in his return. 1U from me.
