After sweeps on Friday and Sunday, we’ll look to build on our solid MLB player prop bets with today’s 9-game MLB slate on Monday, June 17. You can also find out our MLB picks for each of today’s big matchups, but for now, let’s dive into my best MLB player prop bet for today’s action, targeting a hot game between the Padres and Phillies.

Bryce Harper (PHI) 1+ run scored (-130)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

We have to get unique backing Bryce Harper and the Phillies tonight. Finally back at home after underwhelming trips to Boston and Baltimore, Harper and the Phillies look ready to explode with runs at Citizens Bank Park with the wind blowing out.

The offense will face off against RHP Randy Vasquez and his near 6.00 xERA. His “earned runs” prop line is set at a whopping 3.5 with an “outs” line of 15.5. Meanwhile, Harper’s “Hits+Runs+RBIs” line is set at 2.5. Pivoting to him to score with a loaded offense behind him and his threat to walk or homer anytime he steps up to the plate feels like the right bet.

Harper has cashed this prop in 5 of his last 6 games while walking in 4 of them. Vasquez isn’t known to issue many free passes, but it won’t get any easier for Vasquez, who will have to battle Alec Bohm after Harper. Bohm has at least 1 RBI in 5 of his last 6 games so could certainly help Harper cross home plate as well.
