Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The NBA has delivered the usual goods for us basketball fans on Christmas Day with 5 incredible games, all back-to-back. Just the first 3 games of the day will feature 4 teams that have won tittles in the last 10 years. With such an incredible slate ahead of us, let’s dive straight into my mega parlay for the day. And do not forget to check out our NBA previews for today’s games too.

DAL/PHO Over 237.5 (-112)

Warriors ML (+235)

PHI/ MIA Over 225.5 (-112)

Parlay odds: +1100

Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns Over 237.5 (-112)

Since the Mavericks are lacking players that can create their own shots outside of Luka Doncic, they have been attacking in transition instead. Over the last 10 games they have ranked 8th in pace. That higher tempo should help ensure a higher scoring encounter here. With the Suns being in the bottom half of the league during that stretch in defensive rating, the visitors should be able to do their part. The Mavericks have also allowed teams to score at least 119-points in 6 straight games. That run of games includes the San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers. Those sides rank 27th and 30th in offensive rating this season. A side with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker in the ranks should be able to comfortably exceed this. Back the over in this one.

Golden State Warriors Warriors ML over Denver Nuggets (+235)

The Golden State Warriors are going through a resurgence. The team have won 5 straight game, one of which was against a strong Boston Celtics side. It would not be a surprise to see them shock the Denver Nuggets here. The ‘Splash Brothers’ have been incredible recently, averaging a combined 54 points per game over their last 3 outings. Over the last 5 games, they have helped the Warriors rank 5th in 3-pointers made per game. With the Nuggets just 19th in that category, the visitors stand a great chance to outgun their opponents today. Rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis is averaging a double-double over the last week too and could cause Nikola Jokic issues with his athleticism and activity.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat Over 225.5 (-112)

The Philadelphia 76ers are 12th in the league in pace. On Christmas day however, Joel Embiid will be out, leaving Tyrese Maxey to lead the offense. Considering the guard thrives in transition, do not be surprised to see the 76ers play at a much faster tempo. The Miami Heat could also be without Jimmy Butler tonight, their best scorer in one-on-one situations. It could encourage the hosts to get out and run in transition too. The Heat are 20th in the league in opponent fast break points per game. With the 76ers 4th in the league in scoring in that category, they should thrive tonight. The visitors here have also had issues with defending the paint, ranking 17th in opponent scoring in that area. Without the size and presence of Embiid in the middle, those issues should be compounded further. The line is set too low for this one. Back the over.
