Week 5 of the NFL season wraps up with Monday Night Football between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in LA. Although Buffalo is coming off a defeat to New England and Los Angeles has already lost twice, this is without question a potential Super Bowl preview.

I kicked off Week 4 by cashing my +750 Steelers vs Browns Same Game Parlay on Thursday Night Football and then hit again at +650 on Monday Night Football with my Falcons vs Saints Same Game Parlay. Let's keep the momentum going with my SGP for this week's MNF primetime festivities, which get underway at 8:15 PM ET on ESPN.

Bills ML (+150)

James Cook Over 74.5 rushing yards (-111)

Matthew Stafford to record 300+ passing yards (+133)

Bills vs Rams Same Game Parlay odds: +700

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Buffalo running back James Cook having a big night at the office would obviously work well with a Bills victory. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford to also be productive. But even that is somewhat correlated, as Stafford will need to air it out if LA is playing from behind. Let’s break down each of the three legs in our Bills vs Rams SGP.

Bills vs Rams Same Game Parlay Pick: Bills ML over Rams (+150)

The Rams are still without Myles Garrett, while Aaron Donald is expected to return but has mostly been ineffective so far in his comeback to football. If the home team is not putting pressure on Josh Allen, it is going to be in trouble. The Bills took a surprising loss to the Patriots in Week 4, but it was a competitive 29-26 contest, and the result looks a lot better now that the Pats just destroyed a previously 3-1 Las Vegas squad 45-17 on Sunday.

Largely due to injuries, Los Angeles is a disappointing .500 so far with wins only at the expense of what looks like an awful NFC East division (the Giants and Eagles). The Rams are getting healthier (both Davante Adams and Puka Nacua are playing tonight, for example), but they still don’t inspire as much confidence as they did as Super Bowl favorites heading into the season. It’s also not like SoFi Stadium provides much of a home-field advantage. Buffalo has a great chance to win this one outright.

Bills vs Rams SGP Pick: James Cook Over 74.5 Rushing Yards (-111)

Cook is... well... cooking so far this year. The Georgia product is averaging 6.0 yards per carry and has already scored three touchdowns. Cook has exceeded this 74.5 quota on three straight occasions, including efforts of 135 and 154 yards. It’s also worth noting that JC3 has gotten at least 21 carries in Buffalo’s last two wins, whereas he rushed just 12 times in the loss to New England. As such, this bet correlates perfectly with Bills ML. If the visitors are winning, it probably means Cook is getting a whole bunch of carries – and doing a lot with them, too. This leg makes a lot of sense in our Bills vs Rams Same Game Parlay.

Bills vs Rams SGP Pick: Matthew Stafford to Record 300+ Passing Yards (+133)

There is no reason to think that the Bills are going to keep Stafford in check. They rank third-to-last in the NFL in passing defense and have surrendered 10 touchdowns through the air while making just two interceptions. The secondary simply is not very good. Stafford has thrown for 327, 390 and 317 over the past three weeks; reaching the 300 mark is nothing out of the ordinary for him, yet you can get great odds on this play at well into plus money. With both Adams and Nacua at his disposal at the same time, Stafford should be throwing the ball all over the place on Monday Night Football, making it a great addition to our Bills vs Rams SGP.
