Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The are just 5 games on the NBA slate tonight. Among those in action will be the league’s hottest team, as the New York Knicks take on the Golden State Warriors. That will be followed up by a game between the leading teams in the Western Conference this season. The Denver Nuggets will be welcoming the Memphis Grizzlies with a view of gaining the top spot in the conference.

You can see all of our NBA predictions for tonight’s games. But for now let’s take a look at my favorite player prop picks.

Tyler Herro over 20.5 points (-115)

The Chicago Bulls have been shambolic defensively of late, and Tyler Herro could be the man to punish them for it. The Bulls rank 25th in defensive rating over the last 10 games. They have allowed Anthony Edwards, Bogdan Bogdanovic and RJ Barrett all to score 30 or more points against them during their current losing streak. Herro managed to drop 23 points the last time he faced the Bulls. Considering that the Heat guard is averaging 32.3 points over the last week, he should be set to clear the over on this line a little more comfortably. During the last 5 games the Bulls allow teams to shoot at a 40.2% clip from the arc, allowing the 2nd-most 3-pointers in the process. Herro is the Heat’s most accurate 3-point shooter, and he looks set to be the one to take full advantage.

Isaiah Stewart over 1.5 made threes (+112)

The Detroit Pistons have recently elected with to go with 2 bigs in their starting 5, with Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart playing alongside each other. In order for that to work, Stewart has needed to help with the spacing, and he has been successful in doing just that. He has been able to knock down 2 or more 3-pointers in 5 of his last 6 games. In December he is knocking down 41.5% of his attempts from beyond the arc. His opponents tonight go with a big lineup themselves making Stewart’s shooting ability ever more important for the Pistons’ attempts to create space in the paint. Over the last 10 games the Utah Jazz are 22nd in opponent 3-point shooting percentage so the opportunities should be there for the forward tonight.

Mitchell Robinson over 9.5 rebounds (+100)

New York Kicks center Mitchell Robinson has been on a fine rebounding streak. He has been able to record 10 or more rebounds in 5 of his last 7 games. He will be up against a Golden State Warriors team tonight that is 20th on the season in opponent rebounds per game, so those opportunities should be there once more for him. The Warriors also draw the fewest fouls per game in the NBA, which should help Robinson stay out of foul trouble. With him going up against Kevon Looney, a player who is unable to stretch the floor, he should be well positioned to put together another strong rebounding night here.
