Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. With 7 games on tonight’s NBA slate there is plenty of exciting action for us to look forward to. The pick of the bunch should be the immediate rematch between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets were able to pick up a 114-106 home win a couple of nights ago and will be hoping to do the home double over the defending champions.

Don’t forget to check out our full game previews here. But for now take a look at my favorite player props below.

Domantas Sabonis over 21.5 points (-105)

Domantas Sabonis will be coming into this game after a season high 42 points against the Utah Jazz, the latest in a string of great performances. It was the 3rd time in 4 games in which he has been able to score 30 or more points and he should be able to continue his strong form here. Over the last 10 games the Celtics are 21st in opponent second chance points per game and it is something that Sabonis could benefit from. He is 5th among players who have played at least 10 games in second chance points and looks primed to take full advantage here.

He is likely to see time against the pair of Al Horford and Robert Williams III. Horford has had trouble rebounding, with just one game of 10 or more boards since the start of December, something Sabonis can exploit offensively. Williams on the other hand has been playing great basketball and ranks 5th in the league in blocks per game. This could work against him here however as Sabonis is very effective at using pump fakes in the paint. The Lithuanian big has managed to attempt 10 or more shot from the free throw line in 4 of his last 6 games and could have success getting there tonight too.

Dejounte Murray to record a triple double (+375)

The New York Knicks allowed Jaylen Brown his first career triple double in their last game and could be set to give up another tonight. Dejounte Murray has been able to record 6 so far this season and has been incredibly close twice this month already, coming just 1 rebound shy on both occasions already. Murray is undoubtedly the star player at the San Antonio Spurs and points should not be an issue here. He has failed to score 10 points just twice in 15 games since December and should be expected to do so here too. This one will come down to rebounds and assists.

Playmaking wise Murray has been able to record double digit assists in 6 of his last 9 outings, managing 9 in all of the games where he failed to do so. He should be there or thereabout tonight also. Rebounds wise it has been a little trickier for the guard, with the player not managing 10 or more in any of his last 4 games. On the season he has one streak of 5 games in which he did not manage to achieve this, whilst usually not going more than 3 games without a 10-rebound game. It feels like he could be due one tonight.

LaMelo Ball over 2.5 made threes (+150)

I had backed this the last time the Hornets took on the Bucks but unfortunately LaMelo Ball only managed 2 makes from deep on the night. However, in that game he was hindered by foul trouble, managing just 26 minutes of playing time as he sat most of the 4th quarter. The fact remains that the Milwaukee Bucks allow the most shots from deep in the league and the 2nd-most opponent makes. Backing one of the most consistent shooters on this Hornets squad this season at plus money still seems like a good value bet.
