The Stanley Cup Finals will take at least one more game as Montreal fought off elimination in Game 4, winning 3-2 in overtime. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props for that matchup, but make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for this game and every game of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Nikita Kucherov Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-140)

The Lightning offense was not as sharp in Game 4, failing to score more than twice. They had ample opportunities too, but just could not convert. This even includes several powerplays where they just not were able to put the puck in the back of the net.

Nikita Kucherov was one of these guys who struggled to record a point, failing to do so for the second time in this series. He did, however, have plenty of shots on goal. That is where we will turn to tonight. Kucherov scoring would only help this prop, but because he is averaging 3.75 shots on goal per game in the series, we like him to have at least three here. He has cashed this prop in three of the four games so far and the only time he did not cash this prop, he still was close with two shots on goal. We expect a very fast start from the Lightning tonight in front of their home fans, so backing Kucherov to have at least three shots on goal will be our play.

Cole Caufield Over 0.5 Points (+115)

Even though the Canadiens managed to win a game, their offense is still not playing their best. Now having to go on the road will make it even harder, especially being in a hostile environment. There are signs of a few Montreal players who can make an impact tonight, at least if they want to keep their dream alive. We will look to Cole Caufield in this spot, who did not record a point in the first two games. However, in the two most recent games, he has three points (all assists), including two in the Game 4 win. Montreal probably needs to start this game fast because falling behind on the road will not be ideal. Caufield has shown the ability to make an impact in several ways, so just backing him to have a point will be our play.
