We have only a one-game slate for Friday’s NHL playoff action, so we will be looking to find one player for each team who represents some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Tyler Toffoli over 0.5 points (-114)

The Montreal Canadiens did very well to steal a game in Vegas and now find themselves 1-1 in the series as they move to Montreal. They did not have an offensive explosion by any means as they scored three goals, but one guy in particular has been consistent in this series, Tyler Toffoli. He has recorded one point in each of the first two games, with an assist in Game 1 and a goal in Game 2. We have gone to Toffoli in this series already and as long as he is producing, we will continue to back him. Toffoli has 12 points over the course of this year’s playoffs and is averaging nearly a point per game. For that reason, we will ride the hot hand in Toffoli and will back him to at the very least record another point.

Alex Pietrangelo over 3 shots on goal (-108)

The Vegas superstars have really not done all that much in this series, but with the series tied, we fully expect them to step up their play for Game 3. Actually instead of going with a point prop, we will be backing a shots-on-goal prop.

Alex Pietrangelo is the player we are focusing on. He already has 14 shots on goal in just two games in this series. He has had seven shots on goal in each of these games, while also scoring twice in the Game 2 loss. Even if he does not score tonight, he clearly looks to be a guy who will want to pressure the Canadiens’ goalie. Pietrangelo has had more shots on goal in this series than anyone on his team, so the fact that his shots-on-goal prop is three just feels too low. For that reason, we will back him to have another active shooting night.
