We have only a one-game slate for Friday’s NHL playoff action, so we will be looking to find one player for each team who represents some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for the game.

Brayden Point over 0.5 goals (+144)

The Tampa Bay Lightning blew a 2-0 lead in Game 6 and now return home for the winner-take-all Game 7. With the home crowd behind them, we believe the Lightning will prevail. One player who has done about everything in this series is Brayden Point. We have backed him plenty of times already and with what is at stake, backing him to score a goal tonight is going to be our play again. Point has scored a goal in every single game of this series and in nine straight games overall. The Islanders have really just had no answer for him, so despite what the final result ends up being, expect Point to do his part and make it ten games in a row with at least one goal.

Mathew Barzal over 0.5 points (-118)

The Islanders really had to dig deep to comeback in Game 6 and will now have their shot at clinching a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals. One player in particular who we believe needs to play a role is Mathew Barzal. He is coming off a two-point performance in Game 6, so will likely need something similar if the Islanders plan to pull the upset. Barzal has five points in the series, which includes three assists and two goals, so he could be a factor in many different ways.

We also are expecting there to be plenty of goals tonight, which only increases the chances that Barzal gets involved with the attack. Tampa Bay has shut down Barzal in two games in the series and that includes their 8-0 shutout, but his recent performance suggests he is ready to help lead New York to a possible win. For that reason, we will back Barzal to record at least a point.
