We’ve got a seven-game slate for Monday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Connor McDavid Over 1.5 Points (+106)

Two of the best teams in the NHL will get together as the Oilers will face off with the Maple Leafs. These teams just played the other day, a game that resulted in a Edmonton win. There are plenty of superstars in this game, but tonight we are going to back arguably the best player in the NHL. That of course being Connor McDavid. He has 62 points this season, which is best in the league by nine points. He is second in the NHL in goal, only trailing Toronto’s Auston Matthews by one, so it is likely going to be a battle tonight. McDavid has scored at least two points in each of his last four games, and that is what we like tonight as well. Ultimately, we do like a Toronto win, however, the Oilers are going to put up a fight and McDavid looks to be the guy to lead that charge.

Bryan Rust Over 3 Shots on Goal (-104)

Pittsburgh comes into this game on a three-game winning streak. They just beat this Islanders team 6-3 this past Saturday and will look to make it back to back wins on Monday night. Of course, there is always the threat of Sidney Crosby, but tonight we are going to be backing Bryan Rust. Not a points prop either, but just to put some shots on goal. In fact, Rust has the most shots on goal for Pittsburgh this season with 112. That averages out to 3.2 shots per game. Against the Islanders, he has especially been effective, averaging 4.28 shots on goal over seven games. Rust just had five shots on goal in the game on Saturday, so we will back him here to at least have three.

Dustin Brown Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-110)

The Los Angeles Kings come into this game off two straight losses to the San Jose Sharks. They did recently beat Vegas, so they should still have some confidence coming into Monday night. Here we are going to back a Kings player, which always seems to be a tall task. Though Dustin Brown has done more than enough recently to warrant this play. We actually are going to back Brown to have shots on goal. He is second on the team with 87 shots on goal, but has cashed this prop in 12 straight games. During this stretch, Brown is averaging 4.08 shots on goal per game. Also, in four games against Vegas, Brown has cashed this prop three times and is averaging three shots on goal. Given his current streak having at least three shots on goal, backing his over prop will be our play.
