After a five-game slate on Friday, we have a six-game schedule for Saturday. The action starts at 1:00 p.m. ET, but here we are going to focus on the games being played at night. Among the teams playing tonight are the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Islanders, and Edmonton Oilers. Here we are going to focus on the player props and will be looking for guys to step up for their teams. Make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game as well.

Mitchell Marner Over 1 Assist (+140)

The player we are going to focus on for Saturday is Mitchell Marner. He has established himself as the top assist guy for this Toronto team. This is shown by him have 11 assists on the season. This ranks tied for sixth in the NHL. More impressively, Marner has generated at least one assist in nine of 11 games this season. Further, he has at least one assist in the last seven games in a row. In terms of multi assists games, Marner has just three, but one of those includes Thursday’s game against this same Vancouver team. At this price, backing the over on his assist prop is still likely the best play. More often than not has Marner pushed this prop, so we will take the risk that he can find as least two assists here.

Anders Lee Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-146)

For Saturday night, we are going to look for one player in particular to contribute by putting shots on goal. The player in question being Anders Lee. He does only have five points this season by means of two assists and three goals. However, he is leading the team in shots on goal. Lee now has a total of 31 shots on goal, and has had at least three in four consecutive games. On the season as a whole, Lee has at least three shots on goal in six of the nine games played for the Islanders. Even in games where the Islanders failed to score at all, Lee has still managed to cash this prop. Still be careful with this bet because the juice is a little high, however we still like Lee to make it five games in a row with at least three shots on frame.

Connor McDavid Over 1.5 Points (+118)

When looking at a player prop for Edmonton, two guys obviously stand out. Of course, that being Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. We have already gone to Draisaitl a few times this season in terms of various props, so instead, we are going to be looking to McDavid in this game. He is coming off a two-point performance in the Oilers most recent game, picking up two assists. That gives him 16 assists on the season (1st in the NHL) with eight goals (T-2nd in the NHL). McDavid has contributed at least two points in each of his last six games, so we like his chances of extending that streak against Calgary. Because McDavid can do it all, we will take the over on this point prop at plus money.
