We’ve got a massive 11-game slate for Saturday’s NHL card, which means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Sidney Crosby Over 3 Shots on Goal (+114)

As long as Sidney Crosby keeps cashing tickets for us, we are going to continue to go back to him. Yes, another shots on goal prop will be our play for this game against New Jersey. Crosby has more than dominated New Jersey this season, at least with being able to find chances to shoot. He had four shots on goal the other night in a 5-1 win. This included a goal as well, bringing him to 19 goals on the season and 141 shots on goal. In seven games against New Jersey, Crosby has cashed this prop in five of them with the other two games resulting in a push. He is averaging about 4.4 shots on goal per game against New Jersey, so backing him here will be our play.

Mark Scheifele Over 2 Shots on Goal (-112)

This is another play we have gone to recently and another play that cashed with ease. That being Mark Scheifele to have at least two shots on goal. While he is not known for taking that many shots, he still has 101 shots on goal in 46 games. That averages out to about 2.19 shots per game, so it is very likely we will at least see a push here. Though the Jets just played the Maple Leafs and Scheifele had three shots on goal, which included him scoring a goal as well. Given the fact that we are expecting yet another high scoring game between these clubs, asking Scheifele to have at least two shots on goal is more than reasonable. Winnipeg will also just need him to step up and maybe score a goal or two given how their defense played the other night. For that reason, backing another Scheifele over will be our play.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Winnipeg Jets.

Mark Stone Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (-160)

Here is another play we have gone to recently and will be looking to take advantage of again given the low total. That being Mark Stone to have shots on goal. He is not really known for taking many shots, however we have seen his shot volume increase recently, making this prop worth taking a look at. Stone has 82 shots on goal this season, an average of about 1.8 shots per game. Over his last four games, he is averaging 3.25 shots on goal per game, so even though it is a small sample size, he has still been more active. Two of the games during this four-game stretch came against this Anaheim team, where Stone has three and two shots on goal respectively. As a result, we are going to back his over here and will look for him to make it a fifth straight game with at least two shots on goal.
