We’ve got a four-game slate for Thursday’s NHL card, but there are still plenty of opportunities to find some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Bryan Rust Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+104)

I am sure this play looks familiar and that would be because we went with it in game two. Bryan Rust had four shots on goal in that game to easily cash this prop at plus money, so why would we not go with the same here? He now has four shots on goal in each of the two games played so far, yet is still catching plus money here tonight. Rust has now cashed this prop in seven of the nine games played against the Islanders and is averaging 4.33 shots on goal when playing them. Because we like Pittsburgh to win game three, Rust is sure to be heavily involved, so backing him to have three shots on goal again will be our top play.

Auston Matthews Over 1 Point (-130)

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking to kick their first round of the NHL playoffs off strong against the Montreal Canadiens. For the Maple Leafs to make a legitimate run to the finals, they are going to need their best player, Auston Matthews, to carry them.

As we know, Matthews led the league in goals this season with 41 and there is probably a good chance he finds the back of the net tonight. However, we are instead going to go with just a points prop because he could just as easily have an assist. Matthews has 14 points against this Montreal team this season over the course of 10 games. He has only had two multi-point games against the Canadiens, but has at least one point in all 10 games this season. Given how much success he has had against Montreal, we are backing him to have at least one point.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Montreal Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs.

Jonathan Marchessault Over 3 Shots on Goal (-110)

Vegas tied up the series in game two and now will hit the road tonight. This is a play we went to the other night, a play that resulted in a push. Even though it was a push, we are going to the same play tonight. Marchessault has only failed to reach three shots on goal in two games against the Wild this season. He has cashed this prop six out of 10 times and is averaging 3.6 shots on goal per game against them. The Golden Knights know they need a strong performance tonight, so backing Marchessault to have at least three shots on goal will be our play.
