We have only a one-game slate for Tuesday’s NHL, so we will be looking to find one player for each team that presents some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Matthew Barzal Over 0.5 Points (-114)

The New York Islanders took a 1-0 lead in the series when they beat the Tampa Bay Lightning on the road 2-0 on Sunday. They will now look to steal both road games and head home with the opportunity to really put the pressure on. Game 2 is likely going to be just as intense as Game 1 was and tonight we are going to be backing Matthew Barzal to record a point.

As one of the Islanders’ top players, Barzal has recorded 10 points throughout this entire postseason. He scored a goal in Game 1 and now four in the playoffs. Seeing that he also has six assists is promising because it tells us that Barzal can pretty much do anything for his team. The Islanders are sure to be fire up for this game tonight and we believe Barzal is a vital piece to this team if they are going to outlast Tampa Bay over the remainder of the series. For that reason, backing him to record at least one point will be our play.

Brayden Point Over 0.5 Goals (+174)

The Lightning are probably not used to trailing in a series, seeing how well they have played in the postseason. Nonetheless, they find themselves down 0-1 and need an inspired performance tonight. For tonight’s game, we are going to back Brayden Point to score at least one goal. He scored the lone goal for the Lightning in Game 1 and knows he needs to be involved here if they are going to even the series. He leads the entire NHL playoffs with nine goals, while also adding four assists, so his chances of scoring seem likely. It is a lot to ask, but with the odds looking very nice a goal from Point will be our play.
