We’ve got a six-game slate for Tuesday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

T.J. Oshie Over 0.5 Points (-132)

To no surprise, we are going to look to the Washington Capitals for yet another player prop. Once again, we will fade Alex Ovechkin and Nicolas Backstrom and will focus on T.J. Oshie. He has clearly put together a nice stretch of games, and now has 33 points on the season. Oshie is coming off a three-point performance against the Boston Bruins this past Sunday and now has six points in his last three games. In three games against the Flyers this season, Oshie has two points. Even though that does not sound like much, his recent form would suggest a point is likely here. This is also considering the fact that we like the Capitals to win this game comfortably. We expect there to be plenty of scoring, so asking Oshie to pitch in with a point will be our play.

Victor Hedman Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-106)

This is another play that we have loved going to often. That being the best player on the Tampa Bay Lightning in Victor Hedman. While it is true that Hedman is defenseman, he still leads the Lightning in points with 37. He also leads this team in shots on goal, which is where we will be looking again tonight. Hedman has 113 shots on goal this season, averaging out to 2.75 shots per game. He has cashed this prop in six of the last seven games and is averaging 4.42 shots on goal during this stretch. In seven games against Nashville this season, Hedman is averaging three shots on goal per game and has cashed this prop in four of the seven games. We expect a comfortable win for the Lightning, so backing Hedman to frustrate the Nashville goalie will be our play.

Aleksander Barkov Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-144)

The Florida Panthers have been a very good team this season and a lot of that has to do with the fact that they have two elite players. Both Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau are more than capable of taking over every night. For this game, we are going to back Barkov, not to score a point, but to have shots on goal. He actually leads the team with 131 shots on goal. This averages out to about 3.62 shots per game. He has also cashed this prop in four of the last five games, averaging 3.8 shots per game during this stretch. In four games against Dallas, he has cashed this prop in all four games. For that reason, we will back him here to have at least three shots on goal.
