We have only a one-game slate for Wednesday’s NHL playoff slate, so we will be looking to find one player for each team that presents some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Tyler Toffoli over 0.5 points (-120)

Clearly the Montreal Canadiens had a tough time finding any success against the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 1, falling 4-1. One of the players who did record a point was Tyler Toffoli. We backed him in Game 1 to do just that and will be looking for him to do the same tonight.

The Canadiens’ defense is going to have to improve, but Toffoli is a guy who can provide a ton of offense for this team. He now has 11 points in the postseason with four of them coming as goals. As seen in Game 1, Toffoli is happy to provide an assist as well, and he now has seven in these playoffs. Montreal is going to need a significant boost to their overall play if they are going to win this game in a hostile environment, but at the very least, backing Toffoli to record a point and to keep his team in the game will be our play tonight.

Shea Theodore over 0.5 points (-120)

The Vegas Golden Knights easily dismantled Montreal in Game 1 and their best players did not even record many points. That shows us the depth of this team and why they are poised to win the Stanley Cup this season. For Game 1, we went with Jonathan Marchessault to record a point and he did not. Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty also did not record a point as their offense came from elsewhere. For Game 2, we are going to go with Shea Theodore. He had two points in Game 1 and has four over the last two games. He now has seven assists in the postseason, but did just score in Game 1, therefore backing his points prop to go over will be our play.
