We’ve got a six-game slate for Wednesday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game. We’ve been having a great NHL season so far, let’s keep it going on Wednesday.

Brady Tkachuk Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-140)

Ottawa will face Vancouver for the second consecutive game, looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss against them on Monday night. We certainly do not love the Senators’ chance here, but there is a player on Ottawa that we feel is worth backing again in the prop market. That player being Brady Tkachuk.

He is still leading the NHL with 138 shots on goal. Through 32 games, this averages out to about 4.3 shots on goal per game. He has especially been active when playing the Canucks this season. Ottawa has played Vancouver four times this season and Tkachuk has 22 shots on goal combined in those games. That averages out to about 5.5 shots on goal, meaning he has cashed this prop every time Ottawa and Vancouver have played. While we expect the Canucks to win tonight, backing the shots on goal prop for Tkachuk to go over is still going to be our play.

Jakub Voracek Over 0.5 Points (-120)

The Flyers will look to make it back to back wins against the Rangers as they get set to play them in consecutive games. Philadelphia won on Monday by a score of 5-4 and were led by one player in particular who we like tonight as well. That player being Jakub Voracek. He had three points in that Monday game against New York. He had two assists in that game and scored once as well. Voracek leads the team in assists with 17, but we are still going with a points prop because of the off chance he scores again. Voracek now has six points in his last four games, therefore we will be backing this over and will expect him to be heavily involved in the offense.

Mark Scheifele Over 0.5 Assists (-140)

The Winnipeg Jets will face the Montreal Canadiens for the second game in a row here, looking to bounce back from a 4-2 loss. The Jets have been very good after a loss, so backing a player from their team to lead the charge will be our play tonight. Mark Scheifele will be that player tonight, who had an assist on Monday night. Scheifele still leads the team in assists with 25 and has seven over his last seven games. Also, in five games against the Canadiens, Scheifele has four assists, so we like him to grab another tonight in what we expect will be a win for Winnipeg.
