We’ve got a two-game slate for Wednesday’s NHL card, but there are still plenty of opportunities to find some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Blake Wheeler over 2.5 shots on goal (+114)

It really feels like it has been a while since Winnipeg took the ice, but tonight we are going to look for them to come out strongly against Montreal. Blake Wheeler in particular stands out as a guy who could do some real damage against the Canadiens. Maybe not in terms of recording a point in every game, but more so in terms of pressuring the goalie. Wheeler had five points in the series with the Oilers, but 14 shots on goal. He averaged 3.5 shots on goal and cashed this prop in all four of the games. So, the fact we are still getting plus money for Wheeler to have at least three shots on goal makes this a solid play.

Nathan MacKinnon over 1.5 points (+130)

The Colorado Avalanche looked unstoppable in Game 1 and while we believe Vegas will make the necessary adjustments for Game 2, there is still reason to believe a guy like Nathan MacKinnon is worth a look here. Especially in the point prop market, seeing that MacKinnon is coming off a three-point game and now has 12 total points in the postseason. Eight of his 12 points have been goals, so there is little reason to think that he cannot bully the Golden Knights in Game 2. Maybe not quite as badly, but MacKinnon is playing like the best player in the league right now, so backing him to have another multi-point game at some nice odds will be our play.
