Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers face the Seattle Kraken tonight at 9:30 pm ET. It’s only natural that we bet a player prop. I have one in mind, and I will share that here this afternoon. McDavid has always been able to put pressure on opposing goaltenders. He leads a high-scoring Oilers team that is sixth in the league with an average of 34.1 shots per game. Tonight, McDavid and the Oilers face the NHL’s newest team, the Seattle Kraken. This will be Seattle’s first time ever facing McDavid and company, and slowing them down will not be an easy task. Seattle will also be in a situation where they will need to go to their third goalie Joey Daccord. Philip Grubauer played last night, and Chris Driedger is injured. That could trigger a bit more aggressiveness from the Edmonton offense. McDavid is averaging over 5.5 shots per game so far this season, and he has 9 shots in each of his last 2 games. With that in mind, this total of 3.5 seems a bit low. McDavid should be able to register 4+ shots tonight.
