If today is going the be the greatest day of my life, I’ll need a MLB player prop. It’s hard to imagine the greatest day of your life coming on a day when you don’t have an MLB player prop. That’s just a fact. Lucky for us, the books made a massive mistake on one guy. Our boy Zach Thompson. It’s time people. It’s time.

I’m actually kind of annoyed about this one because it was at 5.5 +110 all morning at DraftKings but I decided to write two other articles first. It’s fine, but I’m just saying, I think that makes me some type of hero. Giving up this much line value on a MLB player prop just to bring parlays to the good people of Pickswise at least puts me in the conversation.
We all know what I think about Zach Thompson by now. I’ll be honest with you. I love his pitching. I do. I’m a Zach Thompson fan. For my money, it’s don’t know if it gets any better than when he sits down a hitter with a ridiculous curveball. You know, the one that produces a 50 percent whiff rate. Just disgusting. What’s even more disgusting is the fact that the books have him at 5.5 today. He’s hit that number in each of his last four starts.
Thompson has the Phillies today who have struck out 88 times in their last 362 at bats. That’s not terrible but it’s not good either. Jordan Holloway just fanned six of them last night so you don’t have to be Nolan Ryan to do what Thompson needs to do tonight. With Rhys Hoskins, Luke Williams and Matt Vierling in the lineup, Thompson should be able to get home on this number. This is my favorite MLB player prop tonight.
