Best World Series Game 2 player prop: Rosario stays locked in

Ozzie Albies MLB player prop

The Atlanta Braves took Game 1 of the World Series last night by a score of 6-2. Game 2 is slated for tonight at 8:09pm ET on FOX at Minute Maid Park.  The Braves are looking to take a commanding 2-0 lead, while the Houston Astros are looking to even things up. It’s only natural that we bet on some player props for tonight’s matchup. I have a prop in mind, and I will share that here. Along with this article, be sure to check out our full game preview for Game 2.

Eddie Rosario over 1.5 total bases (+100)

Sometimes postseason betting means taking the hot hand. That is exactly what we are doing here. Eddie Rosario is on another planet right now. He is 20-for-43 (.465) through 11 postseason games, and he turned in a 2-hit performance last night in Game 1. He has at least one hit in all 11 playoff games, and has 10 hits over his last 4 games. The guy is locked in.

Houston will start Jose Urquidy on the mound, and he has made only one playoff appearance. It did not go particularly well, as he allowed 5 hits and 6 runs (5 earned) to the Red Sox in just 1.2 innings during the ALCS. Rosario hit 5th in Atlanta’s order last night against the left-handed Framber Valdez, but with Urquidy being a righty it seems likely that Rosario will be bumped up to the leadoff spot. That means he will have plenty of chances at the dish. Ride the hot hand and take the over with Rosario’s total bases prop.
