I would like to take the time to look back at some of the long shot TD scorers we’ve hit this regular season from these articles. Ja’Mycal Hasty (+600), Trevor Lawrence (+500), Julio Jones (+600), Hayden Hurst (+295), Josh Reynolds (+360), and Jerick McKinnon (+390) are some of my favorites just to name a few. Let’s look to finish strong on the regular season and end the year on our best weekend yet!

The Favorites

Devin Singletary – BUF ( +155)

The Patriots rank 30th in the NFL in redzone scoring percentage over the last 3 weeks of the season and I can’t see the Bills allowing Allen to take any risks in Week 18 around the goal line. Based on his rushing total, Buffalo will dial back Allen and I think that translates to a bigger workload for Singletary in a game that still matters for Buffalo in seeding. Singletary has scored in the last 2 meetings vs NE.

Kenneth Walker – SEA (-115)

Walker is currently the favorite to win OROY and can put the stamp on that campaign against the Rams at home this weekend. The Rams are tied with NE for 30th overall in red-zone scoring percentage over the last 3 games. Walker has 4 TDs in 5 home games as a starter this season and this one should be a walk in the park for him.

Zack Moss – IND (+140)

Moss has yet to score as a member of the Colts and gets the gift of the Texans rush defense to end the season. Houston has the worst red zone opp scoring percentage over the last 3 games and there’s a good chance they want to lock up the first pick overall, even if they won’t ever admit to it. Moss finally punches one in on Sunday.

Tyler Allgeier – ATL (+110)

The Bucs do not care about this game as you can tell from the Falcons being -4.5 favorites. Tampa Bay has had one of the worst red-zone opponents scoring percentage all season and it has only gotten worse over the last 3 weeks. Allgeier needs 124 rushing yards to break the Falcons rookie record so I’m expecting them to scale back Cordarrelle Patterson and let the rookie finish his season strong.

The Longshots

Elijah Moore – NYJ (+550)

Flacco is starting in Week 18 and he loves him some Elijah Moore. Moore saw his best stretch of the season Weeks 1-3 while Flacco was under center and at +550, I love his chances to score against Miami. Moore also scored against Miami in arguably the best game of his rookie season (8 receptions 141 yards 1 TD).

Mycole Pruitt – ATL (+600)

Pruitt is coming off his highest snap count and best game of the season for the Falcons. He has earned himself more looks to finish year and has already scored 3 TDs in 2022. I’m going to continue to pick on this Bucs red-zone defense and can see Pruitt grabbing one in the redzone. Arthur Smith just loves his TEs.

Jalen Hurts – PHI 2+ TDs (+600)

Yes, he’s coming off an injury why would they risk him getting hurt again? Because they will scheme him open in the redzone to score without being touched. Philly needs this game to clinch the top seed in the NFC, so it matters. Hurts in 2 TDs short of breaking the QB rushing record previously held by Cam Newton so the motivation is certainly there. Hurts has had multiple rushing TDs in 3 games this season and has a good chance to get the record on Sunday at home.
