We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Wednesday, including action from college basketball, the NHL, and the NBA.

One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from college basketball. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1204 with DraftKings; that’s more than 12/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.

NHL: Edmonton Oilers vs Toronto Maple Leafs – 3-Way ML (-120), 7:05 pm ET

The Oilers have struggled since coming out of the break, losing 4 straight games and being outscored 17-10 in that span. The Maple Leafs have only played one game since returning from break, a 6-0 trouncing of the Senators. However, the story in this game is that both teams’ superstars could be in jeopardy of missing this one; both Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews have tested positive for COVID.

As far as looking at the matchup on the ice, the Leafs are just the better team — especially on the defensive side. The Oilers have been a mess all year from their goalie to the team defense, as they are a bottom 10 defensive unit. The Leafs, on the other hand, rank 3rd in both goals against and goals against per game. Lean on the team that could withstand a potential big-time player out of the lineup and who plays solid defense and place your wager on the Leafs 3-way money line.

College Basketball: Creighton Bluejays +10.5 (-110) vs Villanova Wildcats, 8:30 pm ET

This is an interesting game between 2 teams that just played on December 17. Villanova is a double-digit favorite even after losing to Creighton 79-59 in its last matchup. I expect the Wildcats to play much better in the rematch and win the game at home, but 11 points is too much for a team that just blew them out by 20 points.

College Basketball: North Carolina Tar Heels -2.5 (-105) vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 9:00 pm ET

It feels like the Fighting Irish are still getting some extra love from the oddsmakers thanks to their home win over Kentucky in early December, but Kentucky shot 2-for-19 from 3-point range in that game — which is a bit of an anomaly. Outside of its win over the Wildcats, Notre Dame is 0-5 SU against teams that rank in the Top 150 in KenPom’s offensive efficiency and is 1-6 ATS against teams with winning records. Take North Carolina.

NBA: Utah Jazz vs Denver Nuggets +4 (-110), 10:10 pm ET

When it comes to covering the spread, Utah tends to struggle a lot. They are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10. Denver is playing at home here and I’m really excited to see Nikola Jokic vs Rudy Gobert. The MVP has played well lately and has been a matchup nightmare for Gobert over the years. I like the Nuggets to win their 4th game in the last 5, but grab the points as insurance.
