There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Monday, including at Delaware Park race track. Here are three runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races. Let’s dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

1:15 pm Delaware Park (Race 1) – Cerulean Springs +200

Successful in a starter optional claimer having tracked the pace over a mile at Laurel Park in October last year for his most recent success the selection has put up some decent efforts in defeat since including when runner-up in an allowance optional claimer at the same venue in January. Switch to this track appeared no issue when finishing third over a mile in a claimer here last month and he is taken to to deliver a victory dropping in grade.

2:15 pm Delaware Park (Race 3) – Beantown Baby +160

A consistent sort having finished in the first two in each of her last seven starts dating back to a maiden special weight second over six furlongs at Prairie Meadows in  July 2019. Made the perfect start to her 2021 campaign when returning from over ten months off the track to race prominently prior to scoring by one-and-three-quarter lengths in a five furlong turf allowance at Pimlico last month and she looks up to completing a hat-trick.

3:15 pm Delaware Park (Race 5) – Holiday Raid +140

Shown ability in all three starts to date including when runner-up in a maiden claiming event over six furlong sat Parx last month. Raced closed to the speed that day as was the case when filling the same position over six-and-one-half-furlongs at the same track prior. Similar tactics are expected here and having shown improvement with each of her starts she can take another step forward to break her maiden in this competitive event with Angel Suarez in the saddle.
