Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Tuesday.

Jalen Brunson (DAL) over 15.5 points (-120)

Line available at BetMGM at time of publishing.

Brunson has looked great against the woeful Los Angeles Lakers. In two games against the Lakers, he has scored 25 and 22 points, the last game featuring both Luka Doncic and Spencer Dinwiddie. In 15 games with Dinwiddie either starting or coming off the bench, Brunson averages 17.1 points per game.

Brunson is not known to shoot a lot. He attempts around 13 field goals per game but is shooting 50% from the field. Since the all-star break the Lakers allow the most points to the point-guard position on the season and have allowed multiple 20 point scorers to the guard spot. The Lakers in their last 15 games allow more than 122 ppg — 2nd most in the league.

Brunson is fresh off a 22-point game against the Utah Jazz. Even without LeBron James, I expect this game to stay close enough for Brunson to play his usual 30 minutes.
