Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside with my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Sunday.

Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves) over 21.5 points (-115)

Line available at DraftKings at the time of publishing.

Former No. 1 pick Anthony Edwards has continued the impressive start to his career with a phenomenal sophomore year. He is averaging more than 22 points per game while shooting 44% from the field. He shoots over 18 field-goal attempts per game, so will give us plenty of opportunities to cover this number.

The Rockets do not have anyone who could be a tough matchup for Edwards. They rank near the bottom of the league in most defensive categories, but especially against the shooting guard and small forward positions. Edwards dropped a near 30-burger against Houston on the opening night of the season with a healthy Timberwolves roster.

Edwards has gone over this line in 6 of his last 7 games and now gets potentially his best matchup during that stretch. I expect nearly 20 field-goal attempts from him in this one and a close game overall.
