Andrew Wiggins over 14.5 points (-128)

We all know where the scoring comes from when you face the Warriors. Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson have all taken turns in leading them in 2023, but what about Andrew Wiggins? Well, he came to life in his last game, scoring 20 points against Boston after having 14 at Washington. Playing at home should suit him well, since he’s averaging 20.1 points per game on almost 52% shooting at Chase Center this season. Not having to chase Kevin Durant all over the place also helps, while on offense the Nets will be focused on the aforementioned trio, so Wiggins can go under the radar a bit. He has cleared this line in 3 straight games against the Nets and in 4 of his last 5. For his career he’s scoring an average of 19 points per game against them, and I think getting to 15 won’t be too much of a problem for him.

Ben Simmons to record 10+ assists (+310)

Ben Simmons’ assist numbers have been fairly consistent since Kevin Durant went down. He’s averaging 8.5 dimes per game in his last 6 outings, getting into double figures against Boston and San Antonio. Those numbers would have been even better if he hadn’t been tossed after just 18 minutes of play against the Phoenix Suns the other night. He still managed 6 assists in limited minutes in that game, which it’s a clear indicator the Nets are counting on his playmaking while KD is out. Stephen Curry won’t be able to stay in front of him on defense as he simply overpowers him physically. That was quite evident in the first meeting of the season between these teams when Simmons finished with 8 assists in just 19 minutes played. With Irving being focused more on scoring rather than assisting teammates, a lot will depend on Simmons and there’s no doubt in my mind he will deliver. It also helps that the Warriors allow 25.6 assists per game this season, ranking just 17th in the NBA.
