Super Bowl weekend will get started here with a very solid Friday NBA slate, and easily the best game is this nightcap between the Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics. We’ve got contenders from both conferences squaring off live on ESPN. Will Paul George follow up on his 36-point outburst from Wednesday, or will Jayson Tatum help the Celtics pull off an upset?

What better way to make this nationally televised showdown even more entertaining than by betting a same game parlay? We’ve also got thoughts on the side and total, which you can find out in our full game preview. If you’re new to same game parlays and want to find out more, be sure to check out our handy guide, which details how they work and which sportsbooks currently offer them.

Los Angeles Clippers to win by 11+ (+175)

Boston Celtics over 107.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1113

We’re keeping it simple here with a two-leg parlay that pays out better than 11/1 at FanDuel Sportsbook. We get a huge odds boost by combining the Clippers winning big with the over on Boston’s points, when I don’t think it conflicts all that much. We simply need a shootout, which is never too unlikely in today’s NBA.

Los Angeles Clippers to win by 11+ (+175)

The Clippers have arguably been the best team in the entire league over the past month. They’re 11-2 in their last 13 games, and their only recent loss was on the road by just four points against the Nets and their Big 3. L.A.’s offense has been a consistent juggernaut, and they’ve scored at least 120 points in three straight games. Clearly, they can still very easily win by at least 11 even if the Celtics hit 108. Seven of their last nine wins have come by at least 14 points, so I feel very comfortable with this win-margin bet.

Simply put, Los Angeles has been steamrolling opponents. Boston hasn’t been playing their best ball recently, and that might be putting it kindly. They’re just 3-6 in their last nine games, with the three wins coming against the Warriors, Cavaliers, and Bulls. They recently lost to the Knicks by 30 points, which tells you everything you need to know. I haven’t seen anything from them recently to suggest they’ll make the Clippers break much of a sweat here.

Boston Celtics over 107.5 (-110)

In their most recent game the Celtics lost while scoring 111 points, so that kind of result here certainly wouldn’t be too far out of the ordinary. Just a few losses ago, they fell 122-110 to the 76ers, which would’ve been good enough to cash this parlay. They’ve scored at least 109 points in six of their last eight games despite their heavy struggles overall, so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they hit the over on their total points while still not being that competitive.

Brad Stevens’ defense isn’t anything special at the moment, and with the way the Clippers’ offense is playing, I don’t see any reason to believe Los Angeles can’t hit 120+ for the fourth straight game. I think the Celtics understand they aren’t going to win a defensive struggle here, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they play a bit faster than usual.
