Game 1 on Sunday between the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics was an all-time classic and it’s now time for the rematch as the two teams lock horns once again at TD Garden tonight. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm ET on TNT, and I’ve prepared a same game parlay which is available below.

Be sure to also check our predictions on the side and total for Game 3 between Philadelphia and Toronto, plus Game 2 between Chicago and Milwaukee.

Let’s get into the Nets vs Celtics game first.

Brooklyn Nets ML (+134)

Kevin Durant to score 35+ points (+240)

Seth Curry 3+ made threes (+146)

Parlay odds: +1244

Brooklyn Nets ML (+134)

The Nets had the better offensive game in the series opener as they shot 54% from the field and almost 46% from three, compared to 47% and 36% by the Celtics. And that was despite Kevin Durant struggling the entire game. Players like Al Horford and Marcus Smart stepped up big time on the offensive end for the Celtics, and as much as I like those two players, it’s unrealistic to expect that kind of effort on a game-by-game basis in this series. If KD returns to his standard form, it’ll be difficult for the Celtics to get stops in Game 2. It took 4 Celtics starters scoring 20 points each for the Celtics to keep pace. Tonight’s game should also be a close one, but I expect KD and Kyrie to come up clutch and steal one on the road.

Kevin Durant to score 35+ points (+240)

It was a performance to forget for Durant in Game 1 as he finished with just 23 points on a modest 9-for-24 shooting from the field. He also committed 6 turnovers in that game, most of which were a direct result of the physicality of the Boston defense. The game was officiated in a way which didn’t suit Durant, but I don’t think that is sustainable moving forward. After all, we are talking about one of the top-3 offensive players ever in the NBA, in my opinion. It’s only a matter of time before he explodes in this series. Why not tonight?

The Nets cannot afford to go down 2-0, as that would mean they would have to win 4 of the next 5 to advance, which is tough for any team to achieve. Durant has already scored 37 points at the TD Garden once during the regular season, the odds are very solid for a 35-point performance tonight.

Wednesday’s NBA mega parlay is also available (+1034 odds!)

Seth Curry 3+ made threes (+146)

Curry got off to a hot start in the first quarter of Game 1, but he couldn’t sustain it the rest of the way. That was a bit of a surprise considering how well he has played against the Celtics during the regular season. In 4 meetings against them, he averaged 18 points per game and shot the three-ball at an amazing 56%. With the Celtics defense swarming around Durant and Irving, role players like Dragic and Curry will have plenty of space to operate. Seth finished shooting just 1-for-4 from three in Game 1, for someone that shot the three-ball at 42.2% during the regular season that is unacceptable. Look for him to bounce back in tonight’s game.
