Games 1 and 2 between the Mavericks and Jazz have been awfully close, the series now switches to Salt Lake City as the two teams clash tonight in Game 3. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 pm ET on NBA TV and my same game parlay is available below.

After you’re done checking it out, be sure to also go through our predictions on the side and total for the two other Thursday NBA Playoffs match-ups.

Let’s dive in!

Utah Jazz 1-10 win margin (+175)

Bojan Bogdanovic 4+ made threes (+200)

Donovan Mitchell over 5.5 assists (-128)

Parlay odds: +1296

Utah Jazz 1-10 win margin (+175)

These 2 teams have now met each other 6 times this season and 5 of those games were decided by between 4 and 8 points. Both meetings in Salt Lake City were won by the Jazz and with the way this series is shaping up we could be in for yet another close outcome tonight. Luka Doncic is still doubtful to make an appearance, but the Mavs have shown they are capable of hanging around even without him. The line has been set at 7 points here which is realistic considering the circumstances. Utah finished the regular season with a 29-12 SU record in home games, against the Mavs they’ve won 11 of the last 12 meetings at Vivint Arena. Take the Jazz at home, but hope for the Mavs to keep things from getting out of hand.

Bojan Bogdanovic 4+ made threes (+200)

Bojan is the team’s 2nd leading scorer behind Donovan Mitchell averaging 25.5 points per game through the first 2 games. That’s even better than his 21.3 points per game average in 3 meetings with the Mavs during the regular season, he has really picked it up this postseason. With the series now shifting to Utah for the next 2 games, I’m expecting him to sharpen up his shooting numbers, especially from distance. He combined to make just 3 threes over the first 2 games, we’ll see a much better display tonight in front of the home crowd. In his last 3 regular-season home games against Dallas, he is averaging 4.3 threes per game, which is one of the main reasons I trust him to deliver in tonight’s game.

Donovan Mitchell over 5.5 assists (-128)

Mitchell spent a lot of energy scoring the ball so far in this series and with role players generally playing better at home I think he will change his approach a bit in Game 3. He’s averaging 5.5 assists per game in the series so far, while during the regular season in 35 home games he averaged 5.4 per game. Dallas is one of the better teams in the NBA in stopping the opponents ball movement, however they are a lot worse in doing that on the road than at home. Plus with no sign of Doncic coming back, they have one less big body to throw at Mitchell in this game.

It is also worth noting that Rudy Gobert has attempted only 6 shots in this series so far, I am pretty sure the Jazz will use him more on offense in home games. Fingers crossed Mitchell can take advantage of all that and get to 6 assists here.
