After evening the series to 1-1 in Game 2, the Memphis Grizzlies head to Target Center as they try to steal one on the road from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm ET on TNT, and we’ve got a same game parlay to add to the excitement of this Game 3 matchup.

We also have predictions on the side and total for the two other NBA Playoff match-ups tonight, be sure to check those out as well.

Let’s dive in!

Memphis Grizzlies -6.5 alternate spread (+176)

Ja Morant to record 8+ assists (-142)

Anthony Edwards to score 30+ points (+230)

Parlay odds: +1666

Memphis Grizzlies -6.5 alternate spread (+176)

Game 1 and Game 2 were vastly different from Memphis’ perspective. This team is very young and still learning, so the fact that they opened the series a bit slow shouldn’t come as that big of a surprise. In Game 2, they made adjustments and we all saw who the better team in this series really is. Memphis won’t want to give Minnesota any hope here, so winning on the road is a must for the Grizzlies. This team has been battle-tested so many times this season. They’ve gone 25-15-1 ATS on the road and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 visits to Target Center. Backing them to cover is the way to go in Game 3.

Ja Morant to record 8+ assists (-142)

Morant has been getting his teammates involved quite a lot over the past 3 games. He is averaging 9 dimes per game in the series, after closing out the regular season with 10 assists against the New Orleans Pelicans. If that trend continues tonight the Grizzlies will be in a solid position to get back home-court advantage in this series. During the regular season, he had at least 8 assists twice against the Timberwolves. Minnesota finished the regular season as just the 27th-ranked team in opponent assists per game, allowing 26.1. Memphis had 29 of them in Game 2, and that’s proven to be the winning recipe for them so expect Morant to have another solid night distributing.

Anthony Edwards to score 30+ points (+230)

Through two games, Edwards has been the most consistent player for the Timberwolves. In Game 1, which was his first-ever playoff appearance, he dropped 36 points in a win and then followed it up with an okay performance in Game 2 with a team-high 20. He enters uncharted territory once again tonight in his first-ever home playoff game, and I’m interested to see how he reacts. So far he hasn’t shown any signs of fear or anything else that could derail a young player like him.

Over his last 4 games against Memphis, Edwards has now scored at least 30 points twice and tonight he has a solid chance to announce his arrival on the big stage with another 30-point night. Thursdays were his 2nd-most productive day during the regular season, and he averaged 24.8 points on that day.
