After back-to-back losses in Dallas, pressure is mounting on the Phoenix Suns as we head into Game 5 with the series tied at 2-2. Tip-off is set for 10:00 pm ET on TNT. I’ve prepared a same game parlay which is available below.

We also have predictions on the side and total for Game 5 of the Philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat series, don’t forget to check them out.

Let’s get into it!

Over 220.5 alternate points (+176)

Devin Booker over 27.5 points (-106)

Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+130)

Parlay odds: +646

Over 220.5 alternate points (+176)

A trend has been set over the first 4 games of this series – whenever the Suns win we go over the total and when the Mavs win the total goes under. So I am a bit surprised tonight’s projected total has been set at just 213.5 points which is the lowest mark through 5 games so far. I think we go way over that number tonight as the first 2 games in Phoenix ended with 235 and 238 points. The Suns have averaged 115 points per game at home for all games this season and the average game score has been 222 points. I can definitely see Phoenix bouncing back after 2 disappointing showings in Dallas and if that’s the case then we’ll see a score more similar to Games 1 and 2 tonight.

Devin Booker over 27.5 points (-106)

Booker has dropped 30 or more in 2 of the last 3 games in this series and the hamstring injury that bothered him midway through the Pelicans series now looks to be a thing of the past. He’s shooting at a consistent rate of 46.2% through 4 games and is draining 3.3 threes per game on almost 50% which is a significant improvement over the 2.7 per game he was making on 38% during the regular season. With CP3 seemingly struggling to score in this series and the Suns not exploiting the size down low with Ayton nearly enough, Booker will once again have to carry the offense. He showed way more aggressiveness in Game 4, getting to the line 13 times compared to just 7 in Games 2 and 3. If he continues to play like that he will have no problems getting to 28 points in tonight’s game.

Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+130)

If the Suns are going to win tonight, they might as well let Luka have his way offensively and focus more on stopping his teammates. That strategy worked in the first 2 games of the series when Doncic scored 45 and 35, but his team lost by 7 and 20 points. Over the previous 2 games, Luka had a modest 26 points in both, but teammates like Jalen Brunson had 28 in Game 3 and Dorian Finney-Smith dropped 24, including 8 threes in Game 4. We all know how good of a scorer Doncic is, he is averaging 31.3 points per game so far in these playoffs. If the tempo goes up in Game 5, which I expect to happen, don’t be surprised if he goes for 40 or more.
