It promises to be an entertaining clash between two young and upcoming teams as the San Antonio Spurs travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm ET and it’s live on NBA TV.

We’ve prepared a tasty same-game parlay for this one, but we also have predictions on the side and total for the rest of Sunday’s NBA slate, so be sure to check those out!

Let’s focus on the Spurs and Thunder parlay:

San Antonio Spurs -5.5 alternative spread (+126)

Lu Dort over 14.5 points (+102)

Doug McDermott over 1.5 made threes (-128)

Parlay odds: +750

San Antonio Spurs -5.5 alternative spread (+126)

The Spurs are just 3-6 to start the season, but that record is a bit deceiving as 4 of their 6 losses were by 6 or fewer points. Tonight’s opponent Oklahoma City has already lost by 21 or more points on 3 occasions. When San Antonio is rolling, they win by a lot. Their wins have been by an average of 16 points, with the biggest triumph being the one on opening night when they demolished Orlando. OKC is a similar team to the Magic age-wise, so hopefully the experience of Gregg Popovich proves to be the difference tonight. One more thing worth pointing out is San Antonio’s road form — they’ve covered the spread in 6 of their last 7 games.

Lu Dort over 14.5 points (+102)

Aside from SGA, the Thunder don’t really have anyone standing out on the offensive end on a consistent basis. Three other players average over 10 points per game, led by Dort who is at 12.4 points. He has shown flashes of greatness though, against the Lakers on Friday he finished with 17 points despite shooting a poor percentage from the field. He is a capable free-throw shooter as well, he hasn’t missed from the line in 5 straight games, which is always a good sign. His 3-point percentage isn’t all that great, but on a team without much talent he gets around 5 to 6 attempts per night, against the Lakers he shot 11 times. Dort’s role with this team will only increase as the season goes on, and he’s scored 17 or more in 2 of their last 3 games.

Doug McDermott over 1.5 made threes (-128)

He is third on the team in 3-point percentage hitting them at a 40% clip on 4.5 attempts per game. He’s a streaky shooter, but when things are going his way, he can be unstoppable. A couple of weeks ago he shot the lights out against the Milwaukee Bucks, going 7-for-11 from deep. In his last game against Orlando he had 10 points and with Jacob Poeltl entering the health and safety protocols, McDermott’s role should increase slightly tonight. Poeltl averages a very efficient 14 points per game, and Dougie McBuckets is our guy to make up for his absence.
