I've been a capper since my love for sports met my proficiency with numbers and math. The NFL and NCAAF have always been my first loves, followed by the NHL. Although I prefer sports that involve hitting people, I still love capping MLB, soccer, tennis, and even some esports. Living in Florida has its perks like year-round sports of any kind. Aaron Judge has taken the league by storm, and seemingly the world as a whole. He’s even interrupting broadcasts of other sports to look in on his at-bats. That’s been the case since hitting his 60th home run and he’s now going for number 62. That would break the AL record set by former-Yankee Roger Maris. Yesterday afternoon was his 2nd game to try and do so, and he now has 5 games left to set the record. Along with this Aaron Judge breakdown, be sure to check out our MLB picks for all of today’s games.

Aaron Judge vs. Kyle Bradish: Will Aaron Judge hit a home run?

Judge had a rough go of it yesterday against the O’s. He was hit by a pitch with his first at-bat and then proceeded to walk twice and strike out twice. It was a mix of pitches to hit and being thrown around. The majority of his at-bats went to a 3-2 count. Now Judge will be facing O’s rookie starter Kyle Bradish. He’s been a bit up-and-down recently. Bradish had a stellar shutout performance against the Astros 2 starts ago that fell just 1 out short of a complete game. However, he followed that up by allowing 7 runs to the Red Sox in just 2.1 innings.

The youngster has pitched against the Yankees just once this season, in which he allowed 4 runs off of 8 hits in 4.1 innings. To make matters more up-in-the-air, Judge actually rested that game. That certainly won’t be the case today as he chases the record, and he’s still had great success against the O’s overall this season. His 9 homers against them this season are the most by any player against a single opponent. Without any history against Bradish, let’s check out how to best play his props today.

How to bet on Aaron Judge’s props tonight

There’s nothing that tells us Bradish will have incredible success against Judge, but there’s also no history that shows Judge will smash Bradish. With that in mind, we suggest playing his home run prop if there is an odds boost available. There have been throughout the past week or 2, and we will update this article as they come up.

The reason for the boost being worth the play is Judge’s overall success against the O’s and the hitter-friendly ballpark of Yankee Stadium. We’d prefer to hold out for a boost with this matchup as there is always the concern of Bradish and the O’s pitching staff throwing around him. That’s why he’s been walking more frequently, and a prop that can also be played. If you’re able to watch the game live, that is a great way to profit. If the O’s are clearly not giving him pitches to hit, a walk/HBP prop is certainly in play.
