The 2021 NFL season has been epic and the Week 13 slate was a ton of fun. As we turn our attention to Week 14, we’ve got an interesting cross-conference matchup here as the Houston Texans host the Seattle Seahawks. What better way to make this showdown even more exciting than by betting a same game parlay? I just hit our mega parlay for Week 13 on Sunday at +1255, and I also just hit the Week 11 mega parlay at +1762, so I’m feeling it right now when it comes to big money parlays.

Here we go:

Houston Texans -6.5 alt spread (+600)

Davis Mills 250+ alt. passing yards (+174)

Parlay odds: +1989

We have a 2-leg same game parlay which pays out at almost 20/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down:

Houston Texans -6.5 alt. spread (+600)

To start this same game parlay we’ve got the Texans on an alternate spread at 6/1. The Seahawks being a road favorite this large is a bit ridiculous to me. This is a team that is 4-8 and rife with internal drama. Just because they beat the 49ers in a division game last week doesn’t drastically change anything. Russell Wilson is still likely in his last season with the team, and I think there’s a very good chance they no-show on the road after an emotional victory.

On the flip side, I don’t think Davis Mills is nearly as bad as oddsmakers are acting like. He certainly can’t be worse than Tyrod Taylor at this point. Just a few weeks ago the Texans were an even larger underdog against the Titans, and they won outright by nine.

Davis Mills 250+ alt. passing yards (+174)

This concludes our simple two-leg same game parlay. And I like the correlation between both of these plays. If the Texans are winning this game and covering -6.5, it’s going to be because Mills played well. The Seahawks have a pretty stout run defense, so a lot is going to fall on Mills’ shoulders. And I don’t think he’s played nearly as badly as you might think. Mills’ first three starts came against the Panthers, Bills and Patriots. Three of the toughest defenses in the league. His other three starts came on the road against the Colts, on the road against the Cardinals and against the Rams.

It was a brutal slate for a rookie, so I’m expecting him to look much better at home against a weaker team. It might surprise you to learn that Mills actually threw for 312+ yards in two of his last four starts. All we need for this same game parlay to cash is one good game from Mills, and we’re getting nearly 20/1 on that. I’ll take that all day.
