NFL Week 16 same game parlay (+1183 odds): Cleveland Browns vs Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb

Christmas Day brings us a pair of NFL games that should be rather entertaining to watch unfold. The action gets started with a 4:30 pm matchup between the Browns and Packers. That is followed by an 8:15 pm showdown between the Colts and Cardinals.

We are bringing you same game parlay’s for both of these games, and this article focuses on the first game of the day. The Packers are looking to remain undefeated at home while the Browns are looking to pickup a much-needed win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Be sure to check out our full game preview, but without further ado let’s take a look at our same game parlay for this Saturday night showdown.

Packers -7 (-110)

D’Ernest Johnson anytime TD scorer (+370)

Parlay odds: +1183

Packers -7 (-110)

Green Bay is 11-3 against the spread this season, which is tied for the best record in the league. The Packers are also 6-0 SU and 6-0 ATS at home. Of those 6 home wins, 5 have come by 10 or more points with an average margin of victory nearing 2 touchdowns. Green Bay did not cover in its last game against Baltimore, but it has yet to go back-to-back games without covering the spread this season.

Over their last 3 games, the Packers have put up 36, 45, and 31 points. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 307, 341, and 268 yards in those games, and he has 9 touchdowns without an interception in that stretch. The Browns were down a number of starters against the Raiders, and they should be a bit healthier for this one. But even when they are healthy, it’s tough to see Cleveland’s offense being able to hang with Green Bay’s. The Browns like to run the ball, and the passing game has lacked explosive plays. Another big factor in this game is turnovers. The Packers are plus-12 in the turnover margin, which is the second-best mark in the league. With the way Rodgers is rolling right now, back the Packers at home.

D’Ernest Johnson anytime TD scorer (+370)

The Browns like to run the ball, and their backfield is filled with a plethora of talented running backs. Nick Chubb is Cleveland’s No. 1 back, but with Kareem Hunt out D’Ernest Johnson figures to see plenty of touches in this one. Johnson has shined when he has been given his fair share of touches this season. He has started 2 games in which both Chubb and Hunt missed time, and in each of those games Johnson totaled more than 150 yards of offense.

Cleveland is slated to have several starters back on the offensive line this week after missing last week’s game, so that certainly bodes well for the running game. Johnson should see plenty of action when Cleveland’s offense is on the field and he has proven he is capable of handling red zone snaps, as well. He has just 2 touchdowns on the year, but the value at +370 really spices up this parlay.
